My client are the UK's leading specialist in independent testing, validation, and verification of systems designed to protect against hazardous ground gas ingress. This work is carried out by a team of highly motivated Testing surveyors. Job Description:


As a Testing Engineer, upon joining the new division you will work across a variety of construction sites in the UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting verification analysis reports and collating compliance reports, with a view to achieving successful certification for each site. This role will involve visiting commercial and residential construction sites, liaising with project managers, contractors, and ground-workers to ensure that each site adheres to legislation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct verification analysis reports and collate compliance reports
  • Ensure that each site adheres to legislation
  • Perform independent third-party inspections, including photographing sites (on provided iPad)
  • Implement training schemes and introduce quality assurance procedures
  • Interpret data and produce reports about a site's compliance with legislation, with a view to achieving successful certification

Requirements:

  • Full clean driving licence required
  • Understanding of the construction industry, from either education (relevant degree or college course)
  • Passionate about the construction industry, with a keen interest to learn specifically about Quality Assurance procedures
  • Self-motivated and driven
  • Confident working remotely across the UK
  • Detail-orientated with an exceptional eye for specifics
  • Confident communicator
  • Able to build and maintain relationships with all members of staff in the construction industry
  • Flexible attitude towards work
  • Organised and efficient
  • Valid CSCS card desirable, but not essential
