To facilitate our continuous expansion, we are recruiting multiple graduate surveyors to join our Telecoms Team.


Our comprehensive graduate program and support for the Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) aim to provide you with an excellent start and growth opportunities in your professional surveying career.


Job Responsibilities:


In this role, you will advise and guide landowners and landlords throughout the UK on matters related to accommodating telecommunications equipment on their land / property. Specific responsibilities include:


  • Conducting site visits and surveys to assess suitability for telecom equipment installation
  • Reviewing and negotiating telecommunications code agreements and leases
  • Providing valuation advice on rental values and compensation claims
  • Liaising with landowners, landlords, telecoms operators and legal professionals
  • Managing telecom portfolios and instructing solicitors as needed
  • Researching land ownership and property titles
  • Attending meetings and representing clients' interests
  • Preparing reports, plans, maps and other documentation
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations and policies
  • Providing strategic advice to maximize value from telecom agreements
  • Keeping up-to-date with industry developments and legislative changes
  • Developing negotiation and client management skills



Qualifications and Requirements:


We are willing to train you in the necessary technical skills; it is your personal attributes and commitment to the role that are most crucial.

Ideally, you should:


  • Hold a relevant degree (preferably RICS accredited)
  • Have an interest in the built and/or natural environment
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Exhibit a positive, can-do attitude and the ability to identify and solve problems
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail
  • Adopt a consultative approach, capable of identifying and resolving problems
  • Have the ability to work on multiple projects and tasks simultaneously, adapting swiftly to rapidly changing client and site requirements
  • Be committed to continuing your studies to become chartered with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) or the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI)
  • Have access to transportation or be willing to obtain it by the time you start work, as you will often be required to travel to client sites outside of town
  • Enjoy working outdoors in various weather conditions, traveling across the region or further afield.
